This medication is used to relieve digestive symptoms such as excessive stomach acid, heartburn, and belching.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 16 years and older, 1 tablet (75 mg) can be taken once, up to a maximum of 2 tablets (150 mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had allergic reactions to any of its components. Those who experience difficulty swallowing food, pain while swallowing, or who have hematemesis or melena should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than three months or occur with dizziness, cold sweat, or lightheadedness, consult a professional. Those experiencing pain in the chest or shoulders with difficulty breathing, or frequent chest pain should also consult before taking this medication. If unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain occurs, consult a doctor before taking this medication. Individuals taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, those with a history of drug allergies, renal or liver function issues, elderly patients, those with a history of acute porphyria, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and nursing mothers must consult a professional before taking this medication. This medication may interact with other drugs, so inform your doctor or pharmacist about any medications you are currently taking. If symptoms do not improve or worsen while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, do not take this medication for more than 14 consecutive days, and if serious side effects such as hives, rash, difficulty breathing, hypotension, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, heart problems, digestive disturbances, neurological issues, or skin rashes occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. This medication may mask symptoms of stomach cancer, so it should only be used temporarily for symptom relief. When taken with high doses of specific formulations, absorption may be affected, so dosing times should be adjusted. In cases of overdose, treatment such as vomiting or gastric lavage may be necessary, and in some cases, blood dialysis may be required. Do not take with alcoholic beverages, and consult a professional if there are any changes in your condition after taking this medication.
