Vitamin D is needed during pregnancy, lactation, growth periods, and old age, helping to improve bone and dental growth issues and prevent rickets. It is also used to supplement calcium deficiency, maintaining bone health.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children aged 8 years and older should take 2 to 4 tablets once a day, dissolving or chewing in their mouth.

Child dose

Children aged 36 months and older but under 8 years should take 1 to 2 tablets once a day, dissolving or chewing in their mouth.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with excessive calcium in the blood, systemic inflammatory diseases, or kidney disease. Those allergic to the ingredients in this medication, infants under 12 months, kidney stone patients, or those with severe renal failure should avoid taking it. During the course of this medication, it should not be taken with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics such as tetracycline, and antacids. Infants under 1 year old, patients undergoing treatment, children who receive plenty of sunlight and eat normally, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, individuals with heart or kidney issues, patients with hypoproteinemia, those taking certain heart medications, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, facial flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rash occur during use, cease taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, overdose may result in gastrointestinal issues or cardiac edema, and prolonged use may lead to elevated calcium levels in the blood or stone formation, so caution is advised. When taken with certain diuretics, potassium levels in the blood may dangerously increase, so be careful. Adhere strictly to the dosage, supervise children while they take it, and avoid teas containing tannins such as green tea or black tea before and after taking it.
