This medication is used for secondary symptoms caused by cerebrovascular deficiency and for degenerative or organic cerebral psychiatric syndromes. It helps improve symptoms such as memory loss, disorientation, confusion, decreased will and spontaneity, and reduced concentration. It is effective in alleviating these symptoms experienced by patients, contributing to the improvement of memory and cognitive function.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer choline alfoscerate 400 mg orally per dose, 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms.

Precautions

This drug should not be used by patients who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients. In addition, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication. Nausea may occur while taking this medication, which is presumed to be related to dopamine action in the brain. If such symptoms occur, the dosage should be reduced. Attention is needed as gastritis or other stomach disorders may occur in the digestive system. It may affect the nervous system, leading to drowsiness, insomnia, irritability, agitation, spasms, and excessive movement. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children.
