Precautions
This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding for individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day; consult a physician or pharmacist. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or with peptic ulcer, aspirin asthma, hemophilia, severe liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, or bleeding tendencies should not take this medication. Pregnant women in the third trimester should avoid this medication as it may harm the fetus. Patients with kidney or liver issues, cardiovascular diseases, blood disorders, bronchial asthma, or a history of allergies should take this medication with caution. This medication may cause severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, gastrointestinal issues, blood disorders, or kidney or liver functional impairments; if any of these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Particularly, children under 14 years and elderly patients may experience serious side effects like Reye's syndrome with this medication, so caution is advised. Since this medication has anticoagulant effects, it may increase the risk of bleeding during or after surgery; so, inform your physician before surgery. It may interact with other medications, so consult your physician if you are taking anticoagulants, diabetes medications, lithium drugs, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. During pregnancy, especially in the first and second trimesters, this medication should only be used at minimal doses when deemed necessary, and nursing mothers should avoid using it. Elderly patients are at a higher risk of side effects; therefore, they should start with a lower dose and monitor their condition. The enteric-coated capsules should be handled carefully to avoid damaging the enteric coating, and they should not be mixed with specific formulations.
