Treatment of gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, relief and maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms, combination therapy of gastric ulcers with Helicobacter pylori infection antibiotics, treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
This medication is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers and relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also effective for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease and is used in combination with antibiotics for patients with gastric ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. It is utilized for the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, reducing excessive gastric acid secretion. Overall, it helps in the treatment and symptom improvement of various gastrointestinal diseases.
For gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer: 10 mg orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg orally once daily may be administered. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If the condition does not improve after 8 weeks, 10 mg or 20 mg may be taken orally twice daily for an additional 8 weeks. For gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms.
This drug should not be used in patients with specific allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to certain antibiotics. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication. Patients with compromised liver function or elderly individuals should use this drug with caution. Regular blood tests and liver function tests are recommended, and if any abnormal symptoms arise, immediate consultation with a physician is necessary. Particularly, caution is needed when taken with certain antivirals or antibiotics. Do not chew or crush the tablets; swallow them whole, and keep them out of the reach of children. For long-term use, it is important to monitor health status through regular checkups.
