This medicine is used for epithelial damage to the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous epithelial damage due to surgery, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop of the 0.1% or 0.3% formulation, 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% formulation is administered as a base, and if insufficient for severe conditions, the 0.3% formulation is administered.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used in patients with a hypersensitivity to protein-based drugs. When using this medicine, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, congestion, corneal disturbances, and foreign body sensation may occur. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Also, hypersensitivity reactions such as blepharitis or blepharoconjunctivitis may rarely occur, so if symptoms occur, use should be stopped. It is advisable not to use this medicine together with other eye drops, and if they must be used together, they should be administered with an interval of about 30 minutes. This medicine is for direct application to the eyes only, and care should be taken not to let the tip of the container touch the eyelids or eyelashes. If the tip touches, the solution may become contaminated, so it is important to use it cleanly. The preservative benzalkonium chloride included in this medicine can adhere to soft lenses, so it should not be used while wearing lenses, and lenses should be worn at least 15 minutes after administration. For single-use products, the first drop of 1-2 drops should not be administered and should be discarded, and any remaining solution after opening should not be reused and should be discarded immediately. This medicine should not be shared and should be kept out of reach of children. In addition, it should be stored away from direct sunlight and in a cool place, and it should not be transferred to another container for maintaining quality.
