This drug is used to improve conjunctival epithelial disorders caused by endogenous factors such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane skin syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as by exogenous factors such as post-operative conditions, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop of 0.1% or 0.3% preparation 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust dosage as necessary according to symptoms. Usually, the 0.1% preparation is administered, and in cases where the effect is insufficient in severe diseases, the 0.3% preparation is administered.

Precautions

This drug is an eye drop that is applied directly to the eyes. People who are allergic to the ingredients in this drug or to protein-based medications should not use it. During use, there may be itching of the eyelids or a feeling of irritation in the eyes. There may also be eye redness, conjunctivitis, or issues with the cornea. If a foreign body sensation or pain occurs in the eyes, usage should be stopped immediately, and a consultation with a doctor is necessary. Rarely, inflammation of the eyelids can occur; if such symptoms appear, use should be stopped, and appropriate treatment should be sought. When used in conjunction with other eye medications, the side effects may increase, so caution is warranted. This drug should not be used simultaneously with other eye drops; it is advisable to wait at least 30 minutes after using other drops before administering this drug. This drug should be used only in the eyes, and care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from coming into contact with eyelids or eyelashes. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded and not used, and any remaining solution should be discarded immediately after opening. It is not recommended to share this drug and should be stored out of reach of children. Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool place; do not transfer to another container to maintain the quality of the drug.
