This drug can be taken irrespective of meals, but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day. For hypertension treatment, initial and maintenance doses of Losartan Potassium of 50 mg orally once daily is recommended. The maximum blood pressure lowering effect appears 3-6 weeks after starting treatment. If the treatment effect is insufficient, it can be taken in two divided doses, or the dose can be increased up to a maximum of 100 mg once daily.
Child dose
For children and adolescents aged 6 years and older: (1) Patients weighing 20 kg to less than 50 kg who can swallow tablets: 25 mg once daily, can be increased to a maximum of 50 mg once daily.

How to take

Adult dose

This drug can be taken irrespective of meals, but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day. For hypertension treatment, initial and maintenance doses of Losartan Potassium of 50 mg orally once daily is recommended. The maximum blood pressure lowering effect appears 3-6 weeks after starting treatment.
