Precautions
This medication should be used with caution in women within the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as taking more than 5,000 IU of Vitamin A daily may pose a risk of congenital malformations. Individuals with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or kidney disease should not take this medication, and those allergic to it should also avoid it. It is also safe for infants under 12 months, or those with kidney stones or severe renal failure not to use this medication. During the use of this medication, it is essential to avoid taking it with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, antacids, or Levodopa. Patients currently undergoing treatment or with specific diseases should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use, especially women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and those with gastrointestinal diseases, heart or kidney diseases, liver diseases, or gout should exercise caution. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, joint swelling, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, hair loss, or digestive disturbances occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and side effects may occur when taken with certain vitamins, so caution is necessary. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and ensure that the total intake of Vitamin A does not exceed 5,000 IU daily. During use, it may affect certain urine test results, and it is advisable to avoid tea containing tannins such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. Store out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer to another container.
