Adult dose

As sildenafil, the recommended dosage is 25 to 50 mg taken orally approximately 1 hour before sexual activity, but it can be taken from 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity in some cases. Precautions

This medication has a vasodilating effect and can lower blood pressure. Therefore, patients taking nitrate preparations or other medications that lower blood pressure should consult a doctor before use as it may lead to excessively low blood pressure. Patients with cardiovascular diseases must have their heart condition evaluated thoroughly before taking this medication, and engaging in sexual activity that may strain the heart is not recommended. Since this medication can temporarily lower blood pressure, caution should be exercised in patients with hypotension or difficulty in blood pressure management. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, immediate medical attention should be sought as leaving it untreated may cause damage to the penile tissue. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney functions, the elderly, and those with certain genetic diseases may experience stronger effects and side effects from this medication, so dose adjustment and caution are required. This medication may contain aspartame, an artificial sweetener, thus patients with certain genetic disorders such as phenylketonuria should not take it. Pregnant women, children under 18, and women should not use this medication. While taking this medication, there may be dizziness or visual disturbances when driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. This medication should not be used in combination with other treatments for erectile dysfunction, and it may interact with certain drugs; therefore, use should follow a doctor's instructions. Overdose may result in more severe side effects, so it is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. When storing, keep it out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to another container.
