This medication is used for essential hypertension that is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with pimasartan.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is one tablet once a day, taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time daily (e.g., morning). If blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 60 mg of pimasartan, it is recommended to gradually switch to this medication at doses of 60/12.5 mg or 120/12.5 mg.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established for pediatric and adolescent patients under the age of 18.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially during the second and third trimesters. Therefore, it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to any of the components contained in this medication or those with certain kidney and liver diseases or electrolyte imbalances should not take this medication.
