Precautions

This medication should be used only after consulting a doctor or pharmacist for individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, as there is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding from taking this medication. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including this medication, can cause heart and vascular issues, particularly increasing the risk of serious cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction or stroke, so individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should exercise caution. This medication can cause gastrointestinal issues which may lead to severe adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation. Extra caution is advised for those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, elderly individuals, and those taking anticoagulants. Serious allergic skin reactions may occur, so if symptoms such as skin rash or mucosal damage appear, discontinue the medication immediately. This medication can also affect kidney function, so those with kidney disease or weakened kidney function should exercise caution. Individuals with liver function impairment should have regular liver function tests while taking this medication to monitor for adverse reactions. Women planning to become pregnant or who are pregnant should not take this medication as it may reduce reproductive capacity. This medication should not be administered to individuals with certain genetic disorders, including lactose intolerance, so it is important to disclose such conditions. This medication has many interactions with other drugs, especially anticoagulants, lithium, methotrexate, diuretics, and antihypertensives, so it should be used carefully with a doctor's consultation. Elderly individuals may have impaired liver, kidney, or heart function, so they should use the minimum effective dose cautiously and closely monitor for adverse reactions. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal bleeding may occur; in severe instances, serious side effects such as heart problems, kidney failure, or liver failure may arise, requiring immediate medical attention. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept sealed in its original container for safety.
