View approved original text

For patients with essential hypertension, when blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or valsartan, this medication assists in lowering blood pressure more effectively. It combines the effects of both drugs to maintain stable blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications. Thus, it is used in the treatment of essential hypertension.
