This medication is used as an additional treatment for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either amlodipine or valsartan alone. Essential hypertension is characterized by persistently elevated blood pressure, which increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and this medication effectively lowers blood pressure to improve health. This treatment supports the maintenance of heart and vascular health.

How to take

Adult dose

Take one tablet once daily with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning) if possible.

Child dose

Administration is not recommended for pediatric patients under 18 years of age.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second or third trimester of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients who are allergic to this drug's ingredients or similar drugs, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and individuals with severe kidney or liver diseases or a history of certain heart conditions or angioedema should not take this medication.
