This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with either amlodipine or valsartan. It effectively controls blood pressure, helping to reduce the risk of complications associated with hypertension.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery, as dizziness or fatigue may occur. There may be drug interactions, especially with potassium supplements, diuretics, certain anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), simvastatin, and specific antifungal or antiviral agents, so it is important to inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of these. It is best for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding to avoid using this drug; those planning a pregnancy or suspecting they could be pregnant should consult healthcare professionals. Use in children under 18 is not recommended due to insufficient safety and efficacy data.
