It helps alleviate painful swelling and inflammation following trauma or surgery. It can be used adjunctively in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. How to take

Adult dose

As dexibuprofen, take 300 mg orally 2-4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who regularly consume more than 3 glasses of alcohol daily due to the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, and consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication can affect the cardiovascular system and may increase the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke, so individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should take particular caution. Serious issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation can occur; therefore, elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be cautious when taking this medication. In cases of specific conditions such as gastric ulcers, bleeding, severe liver or kidney impairment, heart failure, hypertension, and asthma, it is safest not to take this medication. Blood disorders, liver or kidney function deterioration, hypertension, heart failure, allergy history, the elderly, and children should consult medical personnel before taking this medication. If symptoms such as shock, severe skin rash, breathing difficulties, abnormal liver function, kidney issues, or blood disorders occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult with medical personnel. This medication should be used at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration, and regular blood and liver/kidney function tests are necessary for long-term use. This medication should not be taken with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of methotrexate used in cancer therapy (15 mg/week or more). Additionally, corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), baclofen, and immunosuppressants should be avoided in combination.
