How to take

Adult dose

For gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer: Take 10 mg orally once a day, with the possibility of increasing to 20 mg once a day depending on symptoms. Administer for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Take 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergies or a history of hypersensitivity to specific components. Caution is required if there is an allergy to penicillin-based or macrolide antibiotics, especially when used in combination for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori. Additionally, it should not be used in combination with certain heart medications or antiviral drugs, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid its use. Patients with impaired liver function or the elderly should use this medication with greater caution, and caution is also necessary in those with a history of drug allergies. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash or itching occur while taking this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor. Regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted, and if any abnormal symptoms are detected, medication should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment sought. A variety of side effects could occur in the heart, digestive system, nervous system, respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, skin, eyes, and urogenital system, so symptoms should be closely monitored. If pneumonia symptoms or breathing difficulties arise, inform medical personnel immediately, and urgent measures are necessary for severe skin reactions. Long-term use may increase the risk of osteoporosis and fractures, and hypomagnesemia may occur, necessitating magnesium supplementation and regular testing if necessary. This medication strongly suppresses gastric acid secretion, which may increase the risk of bacterial infections in the gastrointestinal tract, so if diarrhea persists, consult medical personnel. Caution should be taken as drowsiness can occur while driving or operating machinery. There may be drug interactions, so it is essential to inform healthcare professionals of any medications currently being taken, especially when combining antibiotics or antiviral medications. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should not use this medication, and the elderly should be cautious due to a higher risk of side effects from decreased liver function. To ensure child safety, store out of reach of children, and do not chew or crush the tablets; swallow them whole. If using this medication for an extended period, regular check-ups should be conducted to confirm no abnormalities, and immediately discontinue use if any abnormal symptoms occur.
