Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension with the combination of amlodipine and valsartan

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This medication helps lower and control blood pressure more effectively in patients with essential hypertension who are not adequately controlled on monotherapy with either amlodipine or valsartan alone. The two medications work in synergy to dilate blood vessels and maintain stable blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications. Therefore, this medication is used for blood pressure management in patients with essential hypertension.
