This medication helps effectively lower blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension, who find it difficult to control blood pressure with monotherapy using amlodipine or valsartan. How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water, regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning).

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, and therefore the administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; therefore, it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to this medication or certain renal or hepatic diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should not take this medication. Patients with sodium or fluid deficiency may be at risk of hypotension, so their condition should be carefully monitored before and during treatment, and blood pressure should be observed closely. Patients with high potassium levels or poor renal function should have their potassium levels frequently checked when taking this medication with potassium-containing drugs. This medication may cause dizziness or fatigue when driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised.
