Improvement in blood pressure control in essential hypertension through combination of amlodipine and valsartan
This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension for whom blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either amlodipine or valsartan monotherapy. It helps to lower blood pressure more effectively by using both medications together. This contributes to reducing cardiovascular risks associated with hypertension and improving patient health.
The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). The dosage may be adjusted as follows if blood pressure control is inadequate with amlodipine or valsartan monotherapy: ㆍ5/80 mg: For patients whose blood pressure is not controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine 5 mg or valsartan 80 mg.
Safety and efficacy for pediatric patients under the age of 18 have not been established, and the use of this medication is not recommended.

The safety of this medication has not been sufficiently established in patients with renal issues or those who have had a kidney transplant, so it should be used cautiously.
