This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or valsartan.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning) if possible.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in pediatric patients under 18 years of age, and its use is not recommended.

Precautions

This medicine may cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn when taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; therefore, it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It is advisable not to use this medication if there is an allergy to any of its components or in cases of severe kidney or liver diseases. In patients with insufficient sodium or body fluid, hypotension may occur, so it is essential to assess the condition before use and closely monitor blood pressure and status during treatment. If potassium levels in the blood are high or if medications that can increase potassium levels are being used, potassium levels should be checked frequently.
