Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Essential hypertension is a condition that can impose a burden on the cardiovascular system; hence, when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy using amlodipine or valsartan, alternative treatment strategies may be necessary. This medication effectively lowers blood pressure, alleviating the burden on the heart and blood vessels, and helps reduce the risk of complications related to hypertension. These are utilized when blood pressure management is difficult with monotherapy.
