This drug is used to effectively lower blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with amlodipine or valsartan alone.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning).

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established for pediatric patients under 18 years of age, and its use is not recommended.

Precautions

This drug can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to this drug's active ingredients or similar drugs, pregnant or nursing women, and patients with severe kidney or liver disease should not take this medication. Patients with low body sodium or fluid should closely monitor their condition before taking this drug, and during treatment, they should be cautious of hypotension symptoms and take appropriate action if hypotension occurs. Patients with hyperkalemia should frequently monitor potassium levels when using this drug together with other medications that can elevate potassium levels.
