This medicine can be used to more effectively control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who find it difficult to control blood pressure with amlodipine or valsartan monotherapy.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it around the same time each day (e.g., in the morning).

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established; therefore, administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication may cause severe harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second or third trimester of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Those with allergies to the active ingredients or similar substances, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and those who are breastfeeding should not take this medication. Patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function, as well as those with certain heart or vascular diseases, should use this medication with caution and may need to avoid it altogether. Blood pressure may drop too low while taking this medication, especially in cases of insufficient body fluids or sodium, so careful monitoring should be conducted according to a doctor's instructions. Patients with high potassium levels or those taking potassium-sparing diuretics should frequently check their potassium levels. This medication can affect kidney function, so those with kidney disease or patients who have received a kidney transplant need special caution.
