Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second or third trimester of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to the active ingredients, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding, as well as in patients with severe renal or liver impairment. In patients who are deficient in sodium or fluids, hypotension may occur, so the condition should be confirmed before starting, and careful monitoring is required at the start of treatment. Frequent monitoring of potassium levels is necessary in patients with high potassium levels or those taking medications that can raise potassium levels. Patients with kidney problems, those who have received kidney transplants, or those with a history of angioedema require special caution when taking this medication, and it should be discontinued immediately if symptoms of angioedema occur. Patients with heart failure or post-myocardial infarction should have their renal function closely monitored while taking this medication, as pulmonary edema and other symptoms may occur. This medication may cause dizziness or fatigue while driving or operating machinery, so caution is required. Overdosage can cause hypotension or heart-related problems, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and consult medical staff immediately if any abnormal symptoms occur. This medication may interact with other antihypertensive agents, potassium supplements, and certain anti-inflammatories, so it is crucial to inform your healthcare provider of any other medications being taken. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should not use this medication, and breastfeeding women are also advised to avoid it. The safety and efficacy of this medication in children under 18 years of age have not been sufficiently established, so its use is not recommended. Older adults may be administered the same dosages as general adults; however, their condition should be monitored closely. Adverse reactions during treatment may include headache, dizziness, edema, rash, gastrointestinal disturbances, etc., so if symptoms are severe or persistent, medical staff should be notified.
