This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with either amlodipine or valsartan monotherapy alone. This drug helps to lower blood pressure more effectively, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, it is effective in improving blood pressure control in patients with essential hypertension.
