Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. This medication is contraindicated for individuals with allergies to the active ingredients or similar class drugs, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, individuals with severe renal or liver diseases, and those with specific heart diseases. Patients with insufficient sodium or fluid levels in the body may experience hypotension, so it is essential to check their condition before administration and monitor blood pressure closely during treatment. Patients with high potassium levels or those taking potassium-sparing diuretics must frequently check potassium levels for abnormalities. The use of this medication is not recommended for patients with renal vascular issues or those who have recently undergone kidney transplantation, and it should be discontinued immediately if symptoms of angioedema occur. Patients with heart failure or those who have had a myocardial infarction should carefully assess kidney function and blood pressure before and after taking this medication, and patients with severe heart conditions require special caution. Using this medication in conjunction with other RAAS drugs may increase the risk of hypotension, hyperkalemia, and worsening kidney function, so it should be avoided or used under strict medical supervision. Caution is required when driving or operating machinery as dizziness or fatigue may occur. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, dizziness, and increased heart rate may occur, so immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary, and appropriate emergency measures should be taken if needed. This medication is not recommended for children under 18 years of age as safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently established. Elderly patients can be administered the same dosage as adults but must be closely monitored according to individual conditions. Regular liver and kidney function tests are essential during treatment to detect any abnormalities at an early stage. Pregnant or nursing women should avoid taking this medication, and those planning pregnancy should consult their doctor before deciding on its use.
