This medication is used to effectively manage blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who find it difficult to control blood pressure with either Amlodipine or Valsartan monotherapy.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose for this medication is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (for example, in the morning) if possible.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established in pediatric patients under 18 years of age, and administering this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medicine can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Those allergic to the ingredients of this medication, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients with severe kidney or liver disease, and those with a history of certain heart conditions or vascular edema should not take this medication. Patients with sodium or fluid depletion may experience hypotension, so their condition should be carefully assessed before taking this medication, and blood pressure should be closely monitored during treatment. Patients with high potassium levels or those taking medications that may increase potassium levels should have their potassium levels tested frequently, and caution is also needed for patients with impaired kidney function.
