Patients with cardiovascular disease need to be cautious as it may put a strain on the heart. Especially, patients with heart failure or unstable angina, or those who have recently had a myocardial infarction or stroke should not take this medication. This medication may strain the heart during sexual activity, so patients with unstable cardiovascular conditions should not use it. Additionally, if an erection lasts more than 4 hours or is accompanied by pain, seek medical attention immediately. Patients who have difficulty controlling their blood pressure or certain eye diseases should use this medication with caution.
