Eucain Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 milligrams of lidocaine) as ointment 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Dosage and application time vary by individual, and the minimum effective dose should be used. The maximum dose should not exceed 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication contains an amide-type local anesthetic, and it should not be used if you or your partner are allergic to this medication or similar components. Additionally, this medication should not be applied to areas with wounds or inflammation, and it should not be used on pregnant partners. Patients with liver or kidney issues need to exercise caution when using this medication. This medication contains propylene glycol; thus, individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use it cautiously. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash or irritation occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Also, it is advisable not to use this medication for prolonged periods exceeding three months without a physician's guidance. This medication is for external use only on the skin and should never be used on the eyes or nose. It is also advisable to avoid spraying on the same area continuously for more than 3 seconds. When storing, keep this medication out of reach of children and avoid high temperatures above 40 degrees, very low temperatures, and direct sunlight. After use, do not burn this medication but dispose of it properly.

Mild side effects

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture; therefore, it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. The storage temperature should ideally be kept between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius to maintain the efficacy of the medication for a longer duration.
