This medication is used for patients who need to take two drugs, Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin. Olmesartan Medoxomil helps to treat essential hypertension, which is high blood pressure with unknown cause. Rosuvastatin is used to improve hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia when not adequately controlled by diet and exercise. It also lowers cholesterol levels in patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases and delays the progression of atherosclerosis, thus reducing the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction. This medication is used to improve cardiovascular health in patients with both hypertension and dyslipidemia.
