Relief of inflammation and pain from chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
This medication is effective for inflammatory joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also helps alleviate painful swelling and inflammation following trauma or surgery. It plays a supportive role in treating infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. It is used to relieve various inflammatory diseases and pain.
As dexibuprofen, take 300 mg by mouth 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg per day as dexibuprofen.
This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than 3 alcoholic beverages daily, so it is important to consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication can affect the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of serious thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction or stroke, so patients with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should exercise caution. Monitor for cardiovascular symptoms during treatment and consult healthcare professionals if any abnormal symptoms appear. This medication poses a risk of serious gastrointestinal issues such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforation, so immediate evaluation and treatment are necessary if gastrointestinal symptoms occur during use. Elderly patients have a higher risk of gastrointestinal adverse reactions, so they should be particularly careful during use. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, or severe liver, kidney, or heart disease, should not take this medication. Co-administration with aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so such combinations should be avoided. Taking this medication with aspirin may reduce the effectiveness of dexibuprofen, so caution is advised. Pregnant women in their sixth month or later should not take this medication as it may pose risks to the fetus. In breastfeeding women, this drug can cause serious adverse reactions in infants, necessitating the discontinuation of nursing or the drug itself. Dizziness or fatigue may occur during treatment, requiring caution when driving or operating machinery. Before taking this medication, patients with blood abnormalities, liver or kidney disease, hypertension, heart failure, or allergic histories should consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication may interact with several other drugs, making it important to consult a specialist if taking other medications. Stop taking this medication and consult healthcare professionals immediately if symptoms such as rash, respiratory difficulties, severe abdominal pain, bleeding, or jaundice occur. This medication should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration, and regular blood tests and liver and kidney function assessments are necessary for long-term use. In cases of overdose, seek medical attention promptly even if no symptoms are present. Store this medication out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.
