Treatment of symptoms of arthritis (e.g., osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis)
This medication is used to effectively treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, which are associated with pain and mobility issues. It helps provide rapid symptom relief during acute flare-ups of osteoarthritis and contributes to the alleviation of pain and stiffness in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. This drug plays a significant role in improving the quality of life by reducing inflammation and discomfort in the joints. It is widely used for symptom management in joint diseases.

If symptoms do not improve, the dose may be increased to 15 mg daily as needed. 2. Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: ○ Adults: Administer 15 mg of this drug orally once daily. The dose may be reduced to 7.5 mg daily according to the response to treatment. Do not administer more than 15 mg of this drug daily. Take with water or another beverage during a meal. ○ In elderly patients or those at increased risk of adverse reactions, treatment is usually initiated at a dose of 7.5 mg daily. ○ Patients with severe renal impairment receiving hemodialysis should not receive more than 7.5 mg daily.
