This medication is used to improve various symptoms associated with abnormal muscle tension, including neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, low back pain, sprain pain, shoulder pain, muscle spasms, and muscle rigidity.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 2 tablets at a time, up to 4 times a day. Avoid taking on an empty stomach.

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day, so it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication contains acetaminophen, and taking it with other products that contain acetaminophen may exceed the maximum daily dose and pose a risk of liver damage, so co-administration should be avoided. Persons with an allergy to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen should not take this medication. Individuals with severe liver or kidney disease or a history of allergies should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only take this medication after consulting a physician if the therapeutic benefits outweigh the potential risks, as safety during pregnancy has not been established. If symptoms of hypersensitivity such as hives, skin redness, or itching occur during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately. Rarely, skin rashes or bleeding, changes in urine color may occur, and very rarely, severe allergic reactions can happen. If liver dysfunction occurs due to the component chlorzoxazone, the medication should be discontinued immediately. Gastrointestinal discomfort or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, so caution is necessary. Symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, headache, lethargy, or excessive excitation may appear during use. Caution should be exercised when taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, as interactions may worsen side effects. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place. To prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it should not be transferred to other containers.
