This medication is used to alleviate symptoms and promote healing in patients with gastric ulcers. It is also effective in improving lesions such as erosions, bleeding, redness, and edema of the gastric mucosa that occur during acute exacerbations of acute or chronic gastritis. Through these effects, it helps protect the gastric mucosa and reduce inflammation, stabilizing the patient's condition. Therefore, it is widely used in the treatment of gastric-related diseases.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur during the use of this medication, so if symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. There may also be a decrease in white blood cells or platelets, so it is important to periodically monitor blood status. As liver function issues may arise, if liver enzyme levels increase or jaundice symptoms appear, discontinuation and consultation with a physician are necessary. Skin hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, rashes, and itching may occur, so discontinue the medication if these symptoms manifest. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and paralysis have also been reported, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and nausea. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Breastfeeding women are advised to avoid this medication as it may be excreted in breast milk. Caution is needed for children, especially those who are underweight or newborns, as safety has not been sufficiently confirmed in this population. The elderly may generally have decreased physiological functions and may be more sensitive to side effects such as gastrointestinal symptoms, so caution is required. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided as it may pose a risk of accidents and degrade quality.
