This medicine is used to relieve pain and muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal disorders. For example, it is effective for lower back pain, which is pain in the waist and back, shoulder girdle syndrome, which appears in the neck, shoulders, and arms, glenohumeral periarthritis, which is inflammation around the shoulder joint, and conditions like degenerative spondylosis. It improves these symptoms to make daily life more comfortable for patients. It alleviates muscle tension and reduces pain to facilitate bodily movements. Therefore, this medication is used to reduce discomfort caused by musculoskeletal disorders.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 200 to 400 mg of chlorzoxazone orally 3 to 4 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication can cause severe liver damage, so if symptoms such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, headache, changes in urine color, or yellowing of the skin or eyes occur, you must immediately stop taking it and consult a physician. Patients with a history of liver disease must consult a physician before taking this medication.
