Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to chlorhexidine. Avoid direct use on sensitive areas such as the brain, spinal cord, eyes, and ears, as it may cause hearing damage or neurological disorders. It is not recommended to use on mucous membranes, especially genital mucous membranes, and should not be used on infants under 2 months of age. Consult a healthcare professional before using this medication if you have a history of allergies to other drugs or allergic conditions such as asthma. Caution is needed when using extensively on wounded or immature skin, as it may pose risks. This product contains a dye known as Yellow No. 5; individuals with allergies to this substance should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, difficulty breathing, or dizziness occur during use, stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes; if the product gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. For external use only; if ingested or injected accidentally, seek appropriate medical treatment promptly. When using for extended periods or over large areas, care should be taken to prevent inhalation of vapors, and it should not be used for disinfecting surgical instruments. Using alongside soap may reduce its antiseptic effectiveness, so ensure soap is thoroughly rinsed off before use. This medication adheres well to fabrics, so when using materials soaked in the solution, ensure to maintain effective concentration by supplying fresh solution. As it is flammable, caution is required near flames or electrical devices, and it should be fully dried after use. If you have previously experienced severe allergic reactions or shock due to chlorhexidine, consult a healthcare professional before use.
