This medication helps to treat ulcers occurring in the stomach and duodenum and alleviates the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also used for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease. For patients with gastric ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it enhances treatment efficacy when combined with antibiotics. It is effectively used for diseases caused by excessive gastric acid secretion, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. This medication improves various symptoms and diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract.

How to take

Adult dose

For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: Administer 10 mg orally once a day. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg can be administered orally once a day. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg once a day for 4 to 8 weeks. Precautions

Hives, chest tightness, severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucosa, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, asthma attack, cough with fever accompanied by respiratory distress, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), extreme fatigue, sudden and severe headaches, thunderclap headaches, seizures, confusion, vision abnormalities, paralysis, significantly decreased urine output, severe swelling throughout the body, elevated blood pressure.
