The vitamins A, E, B2, B6, and C contained in this medication help supplement nutrition that is needed during physical fatigue, pregnancy and lactation, during and after illness, and in old age. Vitamin A alleviates dry eyes and night blindness. Vitamin E improves peripheral circulation disorders and symptoms of menopause such as shoulder and neck stiffness and cold extremities. Vitamin B2 relieves symptoms such as inflammation of the lips or mouth, dermatitis, and helps maintain skin health. Vitamin C is effective in reducing pigmentation such as melasma or freckles and prevents gum bleeding and nosebleeds. These vitamins work in combination to promote overall health.
How to take
Adult dose
Ages 8 and above and adults: Take 1 capsule once a day.
Child dose
Ages 8 and above: Take 1 capsule once a day.
Precautions
This medication may pose a risk of congenital abnormalities in the fetus if a woman in the first three months of pregnancy or a woman who may become pregnant is administered more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily. Therefore, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should not take this medication, except when treating vitamin A deficiency. People with allergies to any components of this medication, infants under 12 months old, or individuals hypersensitive to soybean oil or peanuts should not take this medication. It is also advisable not to take this medication concurrently with phosphates, calcium salts, tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, or levodopa. Infants under 1 year, patients under medical treatment, and those with certain kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, heart and vascular diseases, hypoproteinemia, gout, hyperlipidemia, or diabetic dyslipidemia should consult an expert before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, dry skin, joint swelling, diarrhea, rash, or hair loss occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult an expert. Women should be cautious as this medication may result in a shorter menstrual cycle or prolonged bleeding. Additionally, women at risk for thrombosis should be particularly cautious when taking this medication along with oral contraceptives containing estrogen. Long-term high-dose use may increase the risk of neuro disorders or osteoporosis, so strict adherence to dosage and duration of use is required. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed methods and dosages, and supervision by a guardian is required when administering it to children. It is advisable to avoid tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea while taking this medication. Moreover, this medication may affect blood glucose tests or urine test results, so it is important to inform the tester of its use prior to testing.
Side effects and when to seek care immediately
Mild side effects
Nausea, vomiting, itching, dry and rough skin, painful joint swelling, discomfort in the stomach area, diarrhea, constipation, rash, redness, dermatitis, foul odor during sweating/breathing, hair loss, irritability. Menstrual cycle may become shorter or heavier, and bleeding may persist longer. Risk of hyperkalemia possible. Possible peripheral neuropathy or neurological symptoms. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Storage
This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it must be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is recommended to maintain the storage temperature at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
