This medication is used to relieve various pains such as chronic joint diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, peritendinitis of the scapula-humeral joint, toothache, inflammation after trauma, low back pain, and sciatica. It is also effective for pain caused by non-articular rheumatism. Overall, it helps reduce inflammation and pain, improving the patient's daily life.
As Aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice a day every 12 hours. Do not chew or crush the tablet; take it as is. Adjust the dose as needed based on symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible.
People who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as taking this medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may increase the risk to the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems. Patients with risk factors for cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should take it with caution. The longer the dosage and duration, the greater the risk, so it should be used for the shortest duration and at the minimum effective dose possible. Patients should inform their doctors immediately if cardiovascular symptoms develop, and those with a history of cerebrovascular hemorrhage should be especially cautious. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation. Elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders are at higher risk and should use it with caution. If symptoms or pain of gastrointestinal bleeding develop while taking this medication, inform medical personnel immediately, and in severe cases, discontinuation of the medication may be necessary. Patients with active peptic ulcer or bleeding, or those with a past history of such conditions should not take this medication. Additionally, patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or similar drugs, or who have symptoms like asthma or hives should also not use it. Patients with heart failure, severe renal or hepatic impairment, pregnant women in the late term, and nursing mothers should avoid this medication. Patients with a history of renal impairment, heart failure, hypertension, or asthma should take this medication cautiously and monitor their condition frequently. Especially, elderly patients or those in recovery after surgery should also take care. This medication may cause various side effects such as dizziness, abnormalities in liver enzymes, itching, rash, anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis, shock, hyperkalemia, depression, unusual dreams, insomnia, vision impairment, optic neuritis, sensory abnormalities, tremors, drowsiness, headache, taste disturbances, neck stiffness, fever, directional perception disorders, confusion, hallucinations, tinnitus, malaise, palpitations, facial flushing, hypertension, heart failure, and dyspnea. In severe cases, dangerous symptoms such as shock, hepatitis, myocardial infarction, and renal failure may occur, so inform medical personnel immediately if abnormal symptoms appear. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible, especially caution is needed for those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders or hypertension. Also, women planning to become pregnant or in early or mid-pregnancy should consult a doctor before taking this medication. If other medications are being taken, inform the doctor or pharmacist, as this medication may interact with them. Caution is especially needed when taken together with anticoagulants, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, anti-diabetic medications, and antibiotics. In the late term of pregnancy, it should not be taken as it may pose a risk to the fetus, and nursing mothers should also avoid it or discontinue breastfeeding. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been sufficiently confirmed in children or adolescents, thus it is preferable not to use it in these populations. Elderly patients should take special caution due to a higher risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, and seizures may occur, necessitating immediate medical attention.
