Precautions

This medication is a topical formulation containing flurbiprofen, used to alleviate inflammation and pain. This medication should not be used by anyone who has had an allergic reaction to flurbiprofen or similar drugs in the past. Additionally, individuals who have experienced certain asthma attacks known as aspirin-induced asthma should use caution, as this medication may trigger asthma attacks. Patients with bronchial asthma or a history of allergic reactions to propylene glycol should exercise additional caution when using this medication. If any symptoms such as redness, rash, itching, or burning sensation appear on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms of respiratory distress or wheezing occur. This medication is used as an adjunctive therapy for relieving inflammation and pain and should be used alongside appropriate antibiotics or antifungals in cases of infectious inflammation, while closely monitoring the patient's condition. When used for chronic diseases such as degenerative arthritis, it is also necessary to consider other treatment methods alongside medication and to carefully monitor for any side effects. In early and mid-pregnancy, the medication should only be used when strictly necessary, with the minimum dosage and duration. It should not be used during late pregnancy as it may pose risks to both the fetus and the mother. Special caution is required for pediatric use, as safety has not been sufficiently established. Elderly patients should be particularly cautious about skin conditions and use the medication carefully. Do not apply to damaged skin or mucous membranes, areas with eczema, or rash, and cleanse the area of application from sweat before applying the medication.
