This medication is used for the treatment of myocardial ischemia caused by hypertension and stable angina, and variant angina. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients who have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease during recent angiography but do not have heart failure or have a cardiac output greater than 40%. This medication also protects heart function while reducing the associated risks of coronary revascularization. Therefore, it is an effective treatment for improving vascular function and alleviating symptoms of heart disease.
