Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have shown allergic reactions to any component of this drug. Additionally, it contains lactose, so patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. During the course of this medication, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur rarely, so if symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Regular monitoring of blood counts is necessary, as white blood cell or platelet levels may decrease, and abnormalities in liver function or symptoms of jaundice may also occur, so it is essential to monitor liver health closely. Hypersensitivity reactions such as urticaria, rash, and itching may occur, and in such cases, it is advisable to stop taking the medication. Additionally, neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or paralysis, as well as gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain may also appear. If there is a significant increase in liver enzyme levels or if fever and rash accompany it, the medication should be stopped immediately. Regular blood testing is necessary since leukopenia or thrombocytopenia may also be observed in laboratory results. Other rare side effects may include breast pain, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, difficulty breathing, hair loss, and menstrual irregularities, and if any unusual symptoms occur, consult a physician. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully weigh the benefits and risks when using this medication, and nursing mothers should avoid breastfeeding as the drug may be passed into breast milk. Safety in children, newborns, and low-birth-weight infants has not been adequately established; therefore, caution is required in usage. For the elderly, although the incidence of adverse reactions is generally similar to that of younger individuals, seniors may have weakened bodily functions, requiring special attention to gastrointestinal side effects and other drug reactions. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and it is advisable to avoid transferring it to other containers as this may lead to deterioration in quality or accidents.
