Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with bleeding. This is because bleeding risks may worsen in conditions with a high risk of bleeding, such as hemophilia, gastrointestinal ulcers, and hemoptysis. It is safest for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to avoid using this medication due to the potential harm to the fetus. Women during menstruation or those with a tendency to bleed should use this medication with caution as there is a possibility of increased bleeding. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents may have an increased risk of bleeding, so caution is necessary. Patients with severe renal disease may also be affected by the excretion of this drug, thus they should use it carefully. Elderly patients may have reduced kidney and liver function, which can increase drug concentration, so they should start at lower doses and be closely monitored. During the use of this drug, regular blood tests are required as such adverse reactions as bleeding symptoms, liver dysfunction, and blood disorders may occur. Bleeding symptoms may include gastrointestinal bleeding, cerebral hemorrhage, and subcutaneous bleeding. If these symptoms appear, the medication should be stopped immediately and consulted with a healthcare professional. If liver dysfunction or acute hepatitis symptoms occur, the medication should be stopped and appropriate treatment received. Allergic reactions may occur and manifest as skin rashes, hives, and itching, so the medication should be discontinued if these symptoms arise. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include vomiting, stomatitis, heartburn, and abdominal pain. If these symptoms are severe, inform a healthcare provider. This drug increases the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents, so special caution is required when co-administered. Women who are breastfeeding should avoid this medication if possible as it may be secreted in breast milk. If it must be used, breastfeeding should be avoided. Safety in children has not been established, thus it is advisable not to use it in pediatric patients. The medication should be stored out of the reach of children, and transferring it to another container may lead to accidents or degradation of quality.
