This medication is used for topical anesthesia of the skin before needle insertion or superficial surgical procedures, and it is also effective for surface anesthesia of the genital mucosa. For example, it is used to anesthetize the area of leg ulcers before condyloma removal or cleansing and superficial surgery. This helps patients undergo procedures more comfortably. Therefore, it is used to reduce pain and provide comfort during various skin and mucosal surface procedures.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the skin and cover with sealing tape. Sealing is typically maintained for 1-3 hours, and the effect lasts at least 1 hour after removal. For needle insertion, apply about 2g for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 5 hours. For superficial surgical minor procedures, apply about 1.5-2g/10cm² for 1 hour. Precautions

This medication is used as a local anesthetic and may carry a risk of a blood disorder called methemoglobinemia in certain patients. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should use this medication only if the benefits outweigh the risks.
