This medication helps facilitate blood circulation by inhibiting the formation of thrombus in diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, and unstable angina. It also prevents thrombus formation in patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention. It helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients with various risk factors such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and diabetes. Therefore, it is effectively used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Enteric-coated tablets: Adults take 1 tablet once daily; do not take higher doses without a doctor’s prescription. Enteric-coated capsules: Adults take 1 capsule once daily; do not take higher doses without a doctor’s prescription.
This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day. This is because gastrointestinal bleeding may occur when taking this medication. This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, those with allergies to this medication or other salicylate products, those with peptic ulcers, individuals with a history of aspirin-induced asthma, patients with hemophilia, severe liver impairment, renal impairment, cardiac insufficiency, those with a tendency to bleed, individuals taking high doses of methotrexate, or pregnant women in the third trimester may be at risk when taking this medication. Additionally, this medication should be used cautiously in patients with renal impairment, cardiovascular issues, liver impairment, blood disorders, bronchial asthma, pre-surgery patients, children under three years of age, individuals with a history of allergies, elderly patients, individuals taking anticoagulants, and those with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. When taking this medication, allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, skin rashes, severe skin conditions, blood disorders, gastrointestinal disturbances, neurological symptoms, liver impairment, renal impairment, and metabolic disturbances may occur. If unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. In pediatric cases, there is a risk of Reye's syndrome, a severe adverse effect, during varicella or influenza infections; therefore, it should only be used cautiously if necessary. This medication helps alleviate pain and fever, but it does not treat the underlying cause. Therefore, caution is needed when used for chronic or acute conditions, and regular check-ups are required for prolonged use. There is an increased risk of bleeding during use, and the tendency for bleeding may continue before and after surgery, so it is important to inform medical professionals in advance if surgery is planned. Furthermore, this medication may interact with various drugs; therefore, consult a professional when taking it with anticoagulants, thrombolytics, diabetes medications, methotrexate, lithium, other NSAIDs, antidepressants, and digoxin. This medication should particularly not be taken during the third trimester of pregnancy, and during breastfeeding, it is advisable to avoid use as it may be transmitted through breast milk. Elderly patients are at higher risk for adverse reactions, so it is essential to start with a small dose and monitor their condition. Being enteric-coated, this medication should be handled carefully to avoid damaging the enteric coating, and it is advisable not to take it with specific alkalizing agents. Finally, keep this medication out of reach of children and store it in its original container to maintain quality and prevent misuse.
