Treatment for the control of essential hypertension.
This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan alone. It helps effectively control blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
In patients where blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan, this medication should be taken once daily with water, with or without food. Before switching to this fixed-dose combination, it is recommended to adjust the dosage of each active ingredient individually for each patient. If clinically appropriate, direct switching from monotherapy to this medication may be considered. - Telmisartan / Hydrochlorothiazide Combination 40/
