Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components should not use it. Patients with orthostatic hypotension who have sudden drops in blood pressure may experience worsening symptoms and should avoid this medication. Patients with severely impaired liver function may experience increased blood concentration of this medication and should use it with caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant are advised not to take this medication. Patients with severe kidney disease should use this medication with caution, as it may increase blood concentration. Elderly patients may have reduced physiological functions, so care should be taken when administering. Patients currently taking PDE5 inhibitors, which have a vasodilating effect, should be cautious as using this medication may lower blood pressure too much. Patients taking CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitors should also use this medication with caution due to potential increases in concentration. Patients on antihypertensive medications should consult healthcare professionals before taking this medication, as it may cause sudden drops in blood pressure. Patients taking alpha-1 blockers generally should not use this medication together; however, if necessary, it should be administered very cautiously. Patients with a history of urination-related fainting should also take care when using this medication. When taking this medication, dizziness or loss of consciousness may occur; if these symptoms arise, the healthcare professional should be informed immediately. Additionally, symptoms such as headaches, drowsiness, insomnia, decreased libido, as well as cardiovascular symptoms like hypotension and palpitations may also occur. If allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching develop, the medication should be discontinued immediately and healthcare professionals should be consulted. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, constipation, and diarrhea, which should also be monitored closely. Rarely, liver function abnormalities or jaundice may occur, so monitoring liver health is recommended. Additionally, various side effects have been reported, so any abnormal symptoms should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately. This medication has a blood pressure-lowering effect; thus, care should be taken to avoid overdose. Blood pressure may abruptly drop when standing up, so movements should be done slowly. This medication is a symptomatic relief treatment and, if ineffective, other treatment methods should be considered. Caution should be exercised when driving or performing hazardous tasks due to the possibility of dizziness. Patients with specific allergy histories are strongly advised to inform their healthcare professional before taking this medication. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if you are taking antihypertensives or specific enzyme inhibitors, inform your healthcare professional. In particular, caution should be observed as combining with PDE5 inhibitors may lead to excessively low blood pressure. Furthermore, interactions may occur with certain antibiotics, antifungals, and antidepressants. This medication has no indications for women and children, and its safety and efficacy have not been established. Elderly patients may have reduced kidney function, so it is advisable to start at a low dose and administer cautiously. When taking this medication, it is important to swallow it whole without chewing or opening the capsule, as it is a controlled-release formulation that can alter its efficacy. When storing, keep it out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container.
