View approved original text

Pimasartan is used for patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy. This medication helps to lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and reduces the burden on the heart and blood vessels caused by hypertension, contributing to stable management of the patient's blood pressure and prevention of complications. Therefore, it is effectively used for the treatment of essential hypertension.
