In case of overdose, abdominal cramps or diarrhea and electrolyte loss may occur, so if you experience unusual symptoms, stop taking the medication immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Long-term use or overdose may lead to dependence of bowel reflex on the medication, so caution is necessary. If loose stools or diarrhea occur, it is advisable to reduce or discontinue the dosage. Gastrointestinal adverse symptoms such as belching, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting may occur. During rectal examination or colonoscopy, if high concentrations of hydrogen gas are present in the intestine, there is a risk of explosion, so complete bowel cleansing must be performed before examination. Long-term or excessive use may lead to fluid loss and electrolyte abnormalities, so caution is necessary. In pediatric patients, long-term use increases the risk of cavities, so special attention should be paid to dental hygiene.
